Planeera
Cycle syncing questions
Clear answers about predictions, personal data and planning around your cycle.
How accurate is the energy prediction?
It is a planning estimate, not a measurement of your hormones or a clinically validated forecast. Planeera starts with a typical cycle pattern and uses your recorded check-ins to personalise the map as data accumulates. There is no established accuracy percentage to promise. Sleep, stress, illness and changing commitments can affect energy independently of your cycle. Use how you actually feel today to adjust your plans.
Can I sync with my own calendar?
Yes. In Settings, use Calendar sync to subscribe to your personal calendar feed in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. It shows your cycle phases and planned steps alongside your existing commitments. This is a calendar subscription, not two-way editing: changes belong in Planeera, and your calendar provider decides how often the feed refreshes. Treat the subscription link as private because it grants access to the feed.
What is cycle syncing?
Cycle syncing means considering your menstrual cycle alongside your observed energy when planning work. It is not a fixed schedule for what you should do in each phase. Record your experience, look for patterns and make changes only when they fit your capacity and commitments.
Does the luteal phase always mean lower productivity?
No. Some people experience premenstrual symptoms, but their timing and impact vary. Research does not establish that everyone has lower cognitive performance in the luteal phase. If your own records show lower energy or symptoms, leave flexibility around demanding work. If they do not, there is no need to change your plans because of the phase label.
Can I use Planeera if my cycle is irregular?
You can record check-ins and plan work, but estimated phase dates are less reliable when cycle length varies. Keep cycle dates up to date and give your observed energy more weight than the predicted map. Speak to a clinician about persistent changes or symptoms that affect daily life.
What if I use hormonal contraception?
Hormonal contraception can change or suppress the natural hormonal cycle, depending on the method. A natural-cycle phase model may be less applicable. You can still track energy, sleep, mood and symptoms, and plan around your own observations rather than assuming phase-based effects.
How much data do I need to start?
Your last period start date and usual cycle and period lengths provide an initial estimate. Daily check-ins help you compare that estimate with your experience. Several cycles of records are more useful for spotting repeated patterns than a single week, but they do not guarantee a precise forecast.
Is Planeera medical advice or a fertility tracker?
No. Planeera is a work-planning tool. Energy scores and phase dates should not be used for diagnosis, contraception or fertility decisions. Consult a qualified clinician about pain, exhaustion or other symptoms that interfere with daily life.
Can I try it without a credit card?
Yes. The free trial includes 14 days of Premium access, with no credit card required. Create an account and complete the cycle setup to start.
